EghtesadOnline:Iran Khodro, the largest auto manufacturer in the country, is reportedly set to showcase three updated versions of its cars, in the forthcoming Mashhad Auto Expo.
The potential models are turbocharged Soren, facelifted Samand and Runna, with some enhancements made in the vehicles' bodyworks, internal upgrades, and new options, wrote local automotive website Asbe Bokhar. A limited number of prototypes have been produced, some of which have even been issued number plates, currently used by company officials. The news website goes as far as reporting that mass production of these models has already been launched. The changes will cover a varied range of interior and exterior design-related features, namely tire threads, the lighting design, front windows, tail lights, trunk latches, spoilers, cabin, steering wheels, cruise control, side view mirrors, and in case of Soren, adding a vehicle data-monitoring system. The 18th round of Mashhad International Auto Exhibition will be held from August 7 to 10 in the northeastern city's permanent fairground, according to Financial Tribune.
