4,600 Industrial Units Under Construction

EghtesadOnline: Some 4,600 industrial units are under construction in industrial parks across the country.

“These projects have made 70% progress on average,” Deputy Industries Minister Sadeq Najafi was quoted as saying by IRNA.

“When completed, these units will generate more than 74,000 jobs.”

Najafi, who also doubles as the director general of Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization, noted that at present, more than 84,000 industrial units are operating in Iran, around 92% of which are small- and medium-sized enterprises, Financial Tribune reported.
