EghtesadOnline: A new smartphone application has been released which provides citizens of Tehran the chance to reserve daily permits for entering restricted zones subject to traffic schemes.

Prior to the launch of the app, people had to visit a website named “Tehran-e Man” (literally means “My Tehran”) to register for the permits. Developed by Tehran Municipality’s IT organization, the app is dubbed Tehran-e Man as well and allows users to submit permit requests via their handsets, reported local news website Digiato. Both Android and iOS users can download the app from local app markets, Café Bazaar and SibApp. According to developers, other services are to be offered through the application and website with Tehran Municipality working toward turning “Tehran-e Man” into an integrated system, covering all urban services, Financial Tribune reported.
