Bank Mellat was the biggest riser, going up 7.17% to 971 rials per share, according to Financial Tribune.
Chin Chin Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 5% to 6,594 rials per share.
Mobarakeh Steel Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Bank Mellat and Golgohar Mining and Industrial Complex.
Informatics Services Company was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Mobin Petrochemical Company and SAIPA Group.
The Price Index gained 116.28 points to close at 29,787.4.
The First Market Index was up 401.85 points to post 69,082.2.
The Second Market Index added 64.37 points to reach 199.376.4.
The Industry Index gathered 302.72 points to register 86,089.2.
The Free Float Index was up 584.92 points to hit 105,258.81.
The TSE 30 gained 37.73 point to settle at 4,521 and the TSE 50 scored 17.83 points to finish at 4,042.4.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX gained 1.83 points or 0.16% to close Saturday trade at 1,112.13.
About 265.92 million securities valued at $49.93 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 46.72 million of its shares worth $950,644 were traded.
Alvand Housing Investment Company, Goldashte Nemone Agri & Livestock Company and Kowsar Insurance registered the highest value increase.
Hotel Parsian Kowsar, Minoo Group and Mihan Insurance suffered the biggest decline.
Zagros Petrochemical Company, Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company and Sarcheshmeh Copper Investment Company had the most positive impact on IFX.
