About 795 million shares valued at $39.96 million changed hands at TSE for the day.
Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.
Iran Khodro Axle Manufacturing Company was the biggest riser, going up 17.81% to 2,706 rials per share, according to Financial Tribune.
Arta Ardebil Cement Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 4.99% to 5,641 rials per share.
Mobarakeh Steel Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Iran Khodro Group and SAIPA Group.
Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Karafarin Bank and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company.
The Price Index gained 168.70 points to close at 29,709.4.
The First Market Index was up 452.78 points to post 67,447.6.
The Second Market Index added 765.84 points to reach 200,743.8.
The Industry Index scored 487.41 points to register 84,868.8.
The Free Float Index gained 845.80 points to hit 101,106.71.
The TSE 30 was up 27.48 points to settle at 4,215 and the TSE 50 gained 16.71 points to finish at 3,982.3.
IFX Up 8.62 Points
Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX gained 8.62 points or 0.8% to close Monday trade at 1,090.42.
About 1.07 billion securities valued at $56.04 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 82.445 million of its shares worth $1.53 million were traded.
Tourism Bank, Iran & Shargh Leasing Company and Mihan Insurance registered the highest value increase.
Etela Alborz Investment Company, Khorasan Petrochemical Company and Alborz Bulk Company suffered the biggest decline.
Esfahan Steel Company, Hormozgan Steel Company and Marun Petrochemical Company had the most positive impact on IFX.
