About 426 million shares valued at $26.04 million changed hands at TSE for the day.
Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.
Piranshahr Suger Company was the biggest riser, going up 8.65% to 8,350 rials per share, Financial Tribune reported.
Kordestan Cement Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 4.88% to 779 rials per share.
Golgohar Mining and Industrial Complex gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Khuzestan Steel Company and Ghadir Investment Company.
Iran National Copper Industry Company was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company and Abidi Pharmaceuticals.
The Price Index gained 0.44 points to close at 30,283.8.
The First Market Index was up 63.14 points to post 67,626.8.
The Second Market Index shed 322.57 points to reach 204,611.4.
The Industry Index added 4.82 points to register 85,551.7.
The Free Float Index increased by 49.24 points to hit 101,575.99.
The TSE 30 was up 0.01 points to settle at 4,271.5 and the TSE 50 gave up 0.65 to finish at 4,029.8.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX gained 7.28 points or 0.69% to close Wednesday trade at 1,063.69.
About 212.51 million securities valued at $41.34 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 68.26 million of its shares worth $1.21 million were traded.
Shirvan Sugar Company, Shomal-e-Shargh-e-Shahroud Industrial and Mining Company and Kimia Zanjan Gostaran Mining Company registered the highest value increase.
Caspian Tamin Pharmaceutical Company, Bahman Leasing Company and Atieh Dadeh Pardaz Company suffered the biggest decline.
Marun Petrochemical Company, Hormozgan Petrochemical Company and Iranol Oil Company had the most positive impact on IFX.
