Phase 1 of S. Port Project’s Launch in 2 Weeks
EghtesadOnline: Phase 1 of the development project of Shahid Beheshti Port in Chabahar located in southeastern Sistan-Baluchestan Province will be inaugurated in the next two weeks, managing director of Ports and Maritime Organization said on Monday.
Mohammad Rastad added that President Hassan Rouhani and transportation ministers of 27 countries will attend the ceremony. A total of $1 billion have been invested on the development and equipment of Phase 1. The capacity of Shahid Beheshti Port will reach 82 million tons, once all the five phases of the development project are completed, IRNA quoted Rastad as saying.
