EghtesadOnline: Trade between Iran and Pakistan stands at $230 million a year, of which only $44 million account for Pakistan’s exports.

This was announced by Mohammad Vali, the head of Iran-Pakistan Chamber of Commerce, in a meeting with Mashhad Chamber of Guilds’ board of directors on Saturday. Iran’s main exports to Pakistan include, among other things, $58 million of mineral fuels and petroleum, $21 million of steel, $13 million of animal hide and $9 million of electronic equipment. “Pakistan’s major exports to Iran include about $23 million worth of paper, $5 million of cereal, $5 million of meat, $1 million of machinery, $1 million of plastic materials and $1 million of sugar,” IRNA quoted Vali as saying.
