Executive Positions for Women
EghtesadOnline: Women will hold 30% of executive positions and top officials will become eight years younger by the end of the Sixth Five-Year Economic Development Plan (2017-22), Vice President Es’haq Jahangiri said.
“The 12th government [the new administration led by President Hassan Rouhani] is intent on getting more women into senior management and leadership roles,” he was quoted as saying in a Tuesday meeting of High Administrative Council. Back in March, Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare Ali Rabiei said the number of Iranian women employed in executive positions shows a 189% growth compared with three years ago, according to Financial Tribune.
