ACI accepts IKIA town membership
EghtesadOnline: Director for International Cooperation Office of Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKIA) Town Company Ahmad Reza Bayati announced on Sunday that Airports Council International (ACI) has officially accepted membership of the airport town.
Bayati said that Secretary General of ACI Asia-Pacific Ms. Petty Chaw in a letter declared membership of IKIA town and confirmed it, IRNA reported.
She congratulated membership of IKIA to ACI and expressed hope that this membership causes promotion of security and airport services in IKIA.
The secretary general also voiced interest in mutual cooperation between IKIA and ACI, and added that more interactions will pave the way for growth of the airport industry and aviation industry in Iran.
Airports Council International is an authority body for world airports and its members are airports, airport companies and airport townships and currently is supervising 1751 airports in 174 countries.
