$3.124bn foreign investment last year
EghtesadOnline: Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance and Head of Organization for Investment Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran Mohammad Khazaie said on Tuesday that foreign investment in country has increased up to the level of $3.124 billion.
Addressing the specialized seminar of production and exports in Semnan Province Mohammad Khazaie said that in the year 1395 (2016-17), more than $3.124 billion foreign investments was channeled into the country through banking system.
Khazaie said such a bulk of investment was made in free trade zones and provinces, showing high level of security in Iran and trust of investors, IRNA reported.
