EghtesadOnline: The four years of deep recession in the housing sector are predicted to end by the second half of the current Iranian year (September 2017), the head of Tehran Association of Realtors said.

"We shall have two turning points in the current year: the first will be in the Iranian month of Tir (starting June 22) when the housing market will escape its slowdown and enter a pre-boom stage, and the second will happen two months later when the housing sector boom begins," Hesam Oqbaei was also quoted as saying by Oqbaei noted that last year, the housing market remained entirely in recession.   "Although Tehran registered a better record of residential real-estate deals compared with other cities in the country, it could not be considered a boom or pre-boom phase," Financial Tribune quoted him as saying.
