EghtesadOnline: President Hassan Rouhani's executive order to transfer all government accounts to the Central Bank of Iran will be completed next year, the director of CBI's Office for Banknote Issuance said.

"All government accounts will be integrated and deposited in CBI in the next fiscal year [starting March 21]," Masoud Rahimi also told IRNA.

All the income and expense accounts of the administration in the banking system will be closed and moved to CBI as per the president's  directive notified to executive bodies on March 6.

The move is line with promoting transparency in government accounts and will be done with the assistance of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance, and the Treasury, according to Financial Tribune.
