SCI: Urban Inflation 6.8%
EghtesadOnline: The goods and services Consumer Price Index for urban areas reached 6.8% in the 12-month period ending February 18, which marks the end of the Iranian month of Bahman, compared with last year’s corresponding period, according to the Statistical Center of Iran’s latest report.
SCI put the preceding month’s inflation rate at 6.9%. The overall consumer price index (using the Iranian year to March 2012 as the base year) stood at 238.3 in Bahman, indicating a 0.4% increase compared with the previous month and a year-on-year rise to reach 7.1% compared with last year’s corresponding month, according to Financial Tribune.
