EghtesadOnline: A truck driving in east Jerusalem deliberately plowed into a group of Israelis, killing four people and wounding 15, police said. The driver was neutralized, police said, meaning he was either killed or injured.
The vehicle accelerated and headed toward a group of passengers that had stepped off a bus in the Armon Hanatziv section, said Luba Samri, a police spokeswoman. The area is part of the city that was captured and annexed by Israel after the 1967 war, Bloomberg reported.
More than 40 Israelis and four Palestinians have been killed in attacks by Arabs over the past 15 months, according to the Foreign Ministry’s website. More than 200 Palestinians, most of them attackers, have been killed in the same period.
