EghtesadOnline: Iranian disabled female skier Elahe Gholi Falah has been appointed as Iran’s flag-bearer at 2018 Winter Paralympics.
Falah has great potential and will participate in the cross country field, Head of Zanjan ski committee Reza Azhdari told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).
She could receive 2018 Winter Paralympics quota as first Iranian blind woman, according to IRNA.
The 2018 Winter Paralympics, officially known as the XII Paralympic Winter Games, and commonly known as the 2018 PyeongChang Paralympics, is an international winter multi-sport event for athletes with disabilities that is scheduled to be held in PyeongChang County, Gangwon Province, South Korea, from 9 to 18 March 2018, as governed by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). They will be the first Winter Paralympics held in South Korea.
