EghtesadOnline: The head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Ali Akbar Salehi said they have received letter offering to buy the surplus heavy water from Iran.
Referring to Iran’s selling excess heavy water to Oman, Salehi said Oman had requested and expressed its readiness to buy heavy water.
He stated that Iran transferred some certain quantities of heavy water to Oman after it had mentioned its need for that, ISNA reported.
Touching the post-JCPOC, Salehi underlined that Iran is committed to its obligations and that expects the same from the other sides.
He added the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action is not an agreement between Iran and the U.S. and that cannot be breached by just one side.
Iranian senior official underscored that nuclear agreement is an international subject, expressing hope that no problem would come up in this regard.
“This is an international subject and we do not think that we face any problem, “Salehi underlined.
