EghtesadOnline: Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi met with Iran’s head of judicial system and called for strengthening ties with Iran.

Iraqi prime minister met with Iran’s Head of Judiciary system Ayatollah Amoli-Larijani, where both sides stressed the importance of cooperation on different areas.

According to ISNA, Haider al-Abadi called on Iran for cooperation on fighting against terrorism, adding bolstering legislative, judicial ties would lead to better cooperation on other sectors.

He went on to say that Iraq has experienced different wars and also many victories, adding it has defeated Daesh terrorist group several times and that freed many regions.

Ayatollah Larijani for his part stressed the necessity of boosting mutual relations.
