EghtesadOnline: Russian Ambassador to the United Nations said there is no limitation for Iran to become a member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
Vitaly Churkin stated that after the nuclear issue was resolved and following the Joint Comprehensive plan of Action, remained no obstacle for Iran to join the SCO, according to ISNA.
"We consider there in no limitation left for a positive consideration of Iran’s membership application after the resolution of the situation on Iran’s nuclear program and lifting of the UN sanctions," Churkin said following a meeting held by the UN Security Council on Friday.
