EghtesadOnline: Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that plans are being made for President Hassan Rouhani’s imminent visit to Russia.
Asked whether Rouhani will visit Mosocw on March 18, the spokesman did not specify a time but said, “We are making arrangements for his trip to Russia and information to that effect will be disseminated at opportune time.”
Meanwhile, Minister of Communications and Information Technology and Co-Chairman of Iran-Russia Joint Cooperation Council arrived in Moscow on Monday heading a delegation to help promote bilateral ties and work out plans for Rouhani’s visit to the country, ILNA reported.
Vaezi conferred with Russian Federation Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nicolai Nikiforov on Monday morning and the two sides agreed on a cooperation document to be signed during President Rouhani's visit to Moscow.
He also conferred with Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak and his counterpart in joint commission and deputy prime minister Igor Shuvalov.
