EghtesadOnline: A senior Iranian official categorically slammed allegations of the Arab League Director General Ahmed Abulgheit against the country.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran has called the Islamic World to understand sensitive conditions of the region and the world. It has called for further unity and solidarity of the Islamic World against common threats, including aggressions of Zionist regime, terrorism and extremism,” said Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi.
According to ISNA, he also rejected allegations on Iran’s interference in regional countries, saying that, “We reiterate one more time that ending the ongoing crises in certain regional states will come true only through political solutions, dialogue and interactions between the involved parties, and no country has the right to interfere in internal affairs of Middle Eastern states.”
Qassemi expressed the hope that the Arab League secretary general could perceive the realities, and make more efforts for further solidarity of the Islamic World more seriously.
