EghtesadOnline: Secretary General of the Islamic Society of Engineers Mohammad Reza Bahonar on Saturday expressed concern about revival of US-Russia cold war jeopardizing the international peace and security.

He told reporters that tone of dialogue between Washington and Moscow is getting controversial reflecting deterioration of humanitarian situation in Yemen, Syria and Iraq.

He said that the US and Russian officials are sending messages to each other in a way posing threat to the international peace and security, according to IRNA.

'Such exchanges were unprecedented between Washington and Moscow over the past four decades.'

In the past ten days, Russian president said if Moscow's interests be put on jeopardy by the conventional arms and Moscow fails to defend itself, the Russian government reserves the right to use military facilities. So that such a dialogue is quite unprecedented, he said.
