EghtesadOnline: Kuwaiti deputy foreign minister underlined close interaction between regional states including Iran to consolidate stability in the region.
Talking to reporters on Tuesday, Ali al-Saeed said that cooperation will contribute a lot to regional stability, noting that peace and stability in Persian Gulf should be established by the regional states themselves and Iran's cooperation is important.
All regional states favor security in the region and work for that, he said, noting that Kuwait considers Tehran's role in the field significant, reports IRNA.
The Kuwaiti official said that none of countries favour tension in the region and constructive cooperation can greatly contribute to advancement of goals.
Earlier, other Kuwaiti senior officials had also underlined regional interaction in line with boosting bilateral ties.
Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif held talks with his Kuwaiti counterpart Sheikh Sabah al-Khaled Sabah on regional development and bilateral relations on the sidelines of UN General Assembly in New York.
