EghtesadOnline: Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif briefed Iranian parliament members on the achievements of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), a Majlis member said.
According to Mohammad Javad Jamali who is a member of the presiding board of the parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy committee, the foreign minister attended the Sunday morning open session of the legislative body to brief parliamentarians on Turkey developments and the terrorists attack in France as well, ILNA reports.
Jamali said that Zarif offered his views on the openings made available by the nuclear agreement.
As for the military coup in Turkey, the parliamentarian noted that the Iranian foreign minister condemned the move and said Iran was the first country to denounce the military coup and to underline the position of Turkey’s legal and democratic government.
Jamali also went on to say that Zarif also condemned the terrorist attack in France and said such incidents were rooted in the discriminatory situation prevalent in the French society.
