EghtesadOnline: Minister of Industries, Mines and Trade, Mohammad-Reza Nematzadeh, said on Monday that after the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), contracts have been signed for $1.6 billion investment in the industries and mines sectors.

Nematzadeh told Alborz Province Administrative Council session that despite restrictions, the 11th government had successfully managed commissioning of 6,000 development projects and operation of 9,000 new industrial units, according to IRNA.

'Foreign investor is not important by itself; rather, market management and experience, culture of production and quality are of high importance; so we should get engaged with the world. Certain groups believe sanctions should have been lifted speedily, but there were logical impediments on the way.'
