EghtesadOnline: Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Saeed Ohadi on Tuesday rejected news reports about France's mediation to help the legal settlement of Mina tragedy case between Iran and Saudi government.

He made the remarks in response to reports by domestic media quoting him as saying that France is to mediate about settlement of dispute over Mina tragedy and the compensations the Saudi government should pay to the families who lost theor loved ones in holy Mecca, according to IRNA.

Jurors from several European countries have signaled readiness so far to present a wayout to Mina tragedy case, Ohadi said, adding that an Iranian delegation is to visit some countries, including France in this regard soon.

He said that following the guidelines by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei to pursue the case, the Foreign Ministry, the Judiciary and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization will make every effort to defend the rights of the families of the victims.
