EghtesadOnline: An Iranian artist presented two hand-woven vase carpets and a carpet embroidered with the colors of the Euro 2016 to France Football Federation (FFF) on Sunday.
According to IRNA, Hadi Shahsavari said these artistic works are presented as a token of Iranian peace and friendship and aimed at introducing the country's art and culture.
Shahsavari reiterated that the carpet, which consists of 900,000 knots, would be kept in the FFF museum.
He added the artistic works would be put on display in the final day of UEFA EURO 2016 tournament in France.
The carpet has different shapes and samples including the Euro 2016 logo, the competition cups and TABRIZ 2018.
In December 2015, the tourism ministers of Islamic countries endorsed the selection of the historical city of Tabriz as the capital of Islamic tourism in 2018.
The carpet was presented to FFF president Noel Le Graet in a ceremony attended by Iranian ambassador to Paris Ali Ahani.
