EghtesadOnline: A factory producing different kinds of plastic products was launched in Chabahar Free Trade Zone in the southeastern Sistan-Baluchestan Province on Tuesday.
Some 360 billion rials ($8.37 million) have been invested in the construction of the plant, the news portal of Chabahar FTZ reported.
The ceremony was attended by Morteza Bank, advisor to the secretary of the High Council of Free Trade Zones, and Abdolrahim Kordi, CEO of Chabahar FTZ.
The production unit has been built on an 11-hectare plot, according to Financial Tribune.
“Some 80% of the goods produced in this factory will be exported to neighboring countries, including Pakistan,” he said.
Kordi noted that 80 people have found direct employment in the production unit that has also created 30 indirect jobs.
