EghtesadOnline: Iran traded 470,706 tons of non-oil commodities worth $459.94 million with Russia during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21-June 21), registering a 28.48% and 154.77% increase in tonnage and value respectively compared with last year’s corresponding period, Financial Tribune’s data analysis based on the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration’s statistics indicate.
Iran’s exports to Russia stood at 151,174 tons worth $78.22 million, up 39.35% and 40.35% in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year.
Iran mainly exported apples, tomatoes, kiwis, polystyrene and pistachios to Russia during the three-month period.
Russia exported 319,531 tons of goods worth $381.72 million to Iran, up 23.9% and 205.87% in tonnage and value respectively YOY.
Imports from Russia mainly included nuclear reactor components, radio navigation devices, light and heavy rail wagons, field corn and sunflower oil.
