EghtesadOnline: A high-ranking political-economic delegation arrived in Tehran on Saturday to discuss ways of improving all-round ties between the two neighboring countries.

Turkmenistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov, who is leading the delegation, met with President Hassan Rouhani and signaled his country’s willingness to have wide-ranging cooperation with Tehran in all fields, including energy and transit, ISNA reported.  “Iran is determined to expand relations with all neighboring countries, including Turkmenistan,” said President Rouhani, adding that Iranian companies are ready to provide technical and engineering services and implement projects like construction of highways and roads in Turkmenistan, Financial Tribune reported.
