About 844 million shares valued at $44.65 million changed hands at TSE for the day.
Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.
Azar Refractories was the biggest riser, going up 5.15% to 1,102 rials per share, Financial Tribune reported.
Kordestan Cement Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 4.3% to 712 rials per share.
Iran National Copper Industry Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company and Khorasan Steel Company.
Mobile Telecommunications Company of Iran was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Telecommunications Company of Iran and Kermanshah Petrochemical industries Company.
The Price Index gained 138.21 points to close at 29,394.6.
The First Market Index was up 383.65 points to post 66,641.
The Second Market Index added 557.79 points to reach 198,550.8.
The Industry Index scored 425.95 points to register 83,814.9.
The Free Float Index gathered 617.80 points to end at 99,783.24.
The TSE 30 was up 21.72 points to settle at 4,169.3 and the TSE 50 gained 17.34 points to finish at 3,939.8.
IFX Adds 7 Points
Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX gained 7.81 points or 0.73% to close Tuesday trade at 1,078.52.
About 217.94 million securities valued at $65.52 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares, as 22.55 million of its shares were traded.
Zagros Petrochemical Company registered the highest trade value, with the trading of shares worth $919,293.
Tuka Paint, Sarcheshmeh Copper Investment Company and Teliseh Nemooneh Company registered the highest value increase.
Tadbirgaran-e Fars and Khuzestan, Caspian Tamin Pharmaceutical Company and Tourism Bank suffered the biggest decline.
Persian Gulf Mining Industries Holding Company, Sarcheshmeh Copper Investment Company and Shiraz Oil Refining Company had the most positive impact on IFX.
