EghtesadOnline: Trade between Iran and Lithuania stood at more than €11.1 million in 2017, registering close to a 44% decline compared with 2016.

Iranian trade with the European country experienced the second biggest year-on-year contraction from among the 28-member states of the European Union after Estonia (-59.53%).  Iran exported close to €4 million worth of commodities to Lithuania last year, indicating a 2.23% decrease compared with the previous year, based on the latest Eurostat figures shared with Financial Tribune. Meanwhile, Iran’s imports from Lithuania amounted to more than €7.11 million, showing a 54.8% decline year-on-year, Financial Tribune reported.
