EghtesadOnline: Kenya was Iran’s 15th biggest trade partner in the first month of the current Iranian year (March 21-April 20), Iran’s commercial attache to the African country said, without mentioning the amount of mutual commercial exchanges.
“Iran registered its biggest trade surplus with Kenya during the month,” Morteza Deylan was also quoted as saying by IRNA.
Iran’s exports to Kenya mainly included tar, semi-prepared dough, paraffin, fermented black tea, industrial oils and urea. Imports included pineapple juice, rose saplings, soda and vehicles.
According to Deylan, some 30 Iranian companies are now offering their goods and services in Kenya.
