EghtesadOnline: Islamic Republic of Iran Railways signed a memorandum of understanding with Spain’s Administrador de Infraestructuras Ferroviarias ADIF on Wednesday to cooperate in rail traffic control.

ADIF is a Spanish state-owned company under the responsibility of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, charged with the management of most of Spain’s railway infrastructure, including the rail tracks, signaling system and stations.

IRIR deputy, Maziar Yazdani, was quoted by Ministry of Roads and Urban Development’s news service as saying that Iran was planning to use Spain’s experience and expertise regarding rail traffic control.

“To reach its targets in rail traffic control, we need to use international experience,” Financial Tribune quoted him as saying.
