EghtesadOnline: The government should have a long-term plan for the housing sector since problems in the key industry are caused by a lack of planning and absence of roadmap, said the head of Tehran Association of Realtors.

”Iran’s economy is ailing and it has been struggling with a deep recession since 2012, which have amplified concerns over production and employment,” Hesam Oqbaei was also quoted as saying by Fars News Agency. “Although many organizations affiliated with the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development are concerned with the housing sector, there is still no bright plan in sight. The Mehr Housing scheme is a clear example, which was initiated by the previous administration but was deemed as faulty by the next,” Financial Tribune quoted him as saying.
